Like the Pinot Noir from which it descends, Gamay was introduced in Valais during the major restructuring of the vineyard in the 19th century. Up to 14 °, it is more powerful than Pinot or equivalent to Merlot. This Gamay comes from very old vines that are almost half a century old. This mysterious Gamay differs from our FIN BEC range because it will have been aged in oak barrels for 36 months.
